Giving Hope Foundation Announces New CSO

Pendleton, Ind., The Giving Hope Foundation is pleased to announce that Kathleen McAllen, has joined the organization as Chief Strategy Officer, effective January 22, 2018. She will be responsible for developing, communicating, executing, and sustaining corporate strategic initiatives. Kathleen has served in a variety of leadership roles for nearly 30 years in the hospital and ambulatory settings, physician services on the not-for-profit and for profit arenas. She most recently served as Community Health Network’s Vice President of Network Partner Services and was a member of the organization’s technology executive leadership team.
Kathleen received her Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and her Master of Health Administration from Indiana University, Indianapolis. She is a certified Project Management Professional with extensive experience in lean six sigma and performance improvement.

As an Adjunct Faculty member at Indiana University, Kathleen serves in both teaching and consulting roles. She has special interests in technology, leader development, and services for individuals with disabilities and helps to lead several organizations supporting these causes. Kathleen was recently appointed by Governor Eric Holcomb to serve as a member of the Indiana Task Force for the Assessment of Services and Supports for People with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Kathleen resides in Indianapolis with her husband. She is the proud mother of three adult children.
