Giving Hope Foundation Announces New CEO
PENDLETON, Ind., December 11, 2017 - The Giving Hope Foundation is pleased to announce that Megan Gumbel, Indianapolis native, has joined the organization as Chief Executive Officer, effective December 11, 2017. She will organize and guide the work that will drive the mission of Giving Family Hope. Gumbel was most recently Deputy Director of State Operated Services and Quality for the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services: Developmental Disabilities.
Gumbel earned her bachelor’s degree from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and her master’s degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan. She has over 16 years post college experience in disability services: vocational, residential, respite, quality, and policy. Gumbel has worked in for-profit, not-for-profit and government sectors across multiple states and has a keen appreciation of servant leadership.

Megan is an Indianapolis native. She’s looking forward to returning to the area, along with her rescue poodle, Pearl.
Giving Family Hope Foundation is a non-profit creating a brighter future for individuals with disabilities and their families through awareness, education, and compassion. The organization recently began the development of The Giving Family Hope Center to ensure our community has a safe environment where families and friends of children and adults with disabilities can grow stronger.
